London-based managed IT services company is recognised for its work in cloud platform innovation. SDC awards
LONDON, ENGLAND, OCT. 11, 2022 — Sequential Networks Limited is pleased to announce it is a finalist in the 13th Storage, Digitalisation, Cloud and Channel (SDC) Awards program. The company is being recognised for its work in cloud platform innovation and is competing against nine other companies for the prestigious award.
The SDC awards focus on recognising successful businesses providing digital transformation products and services. The awards ceremony began in 2009 and has continued to provide maximised visibility, positioning, increased credibility, networking opportunities and a competitive advantage for award winners.
Founded in 2012, the privately owned and operated Sequential Networks Limited is a Managed IT Services Provider with offices in London, Cheshire and Essex that offers cloud platform services, among others with various internet solutions. The company operates data centres that provide colocation services to other public and private corporations and entities. Colocation is the process of renting space in a third-party data centre to house servers and computer hardware for companies that lack such facilities. Clients gain access to using the internet to store and retrieve data through the five different types of cloud servers Sequential Networks Limited operates. These servers include the following:
- Public
- Private
- Hybrid
- Cloud Hosted Desktop
- Virtual Private Server (VPS)
“Our product allows our clients to colocate dedicated equipment and also make use of our private cloud for extra resources and backups. We create one private network and it allows them to have a total hybrid solution with zero data transfer fees between the two, unlike AWS and Azure. We also have connectors direct to AWS and Azure if the client still wishes to connect in. We helped reduce a client’s bill from £4k to £1k, 45% of this was data storage and transfer fees between servers and also backups. All backups allow the customer’s dedicated servers to be virtualised in our cloud for DR purposes in either London or Manchester being directly connected. We own, manage and maintain all our equipment, including our own private RIPE AS, backed up by true 24x7x365 support and dedicated account managers,” a company spokesperson stated.
